La música como estrategia para controlar elementos de agresividad en niños

La agresividad infantil se relaciona con conductas disruptivas que pueden desembocar en diversos problemas, tal como estrés, ansiedad, abandono escolar, depresión y comportamientos de riesgo, representando esta conducta agresiva un síntoma de muchos problemas subyacentes diferentes. Entre las diversas terapias para el control de la ira y la violencia en niños se encuentra la musicoterapia, la cual mediante el uso controlado de la música puede influir en el ser humano para auxiliar en la integración fisiológica, psicológica y emocional del individuo durante el tratamiento de una enfermedad o padecimiento, representando la música una excelente opción para controlar los comportamientos agresivos al mejorar la capacidad de percibir emociones, lo cual se asocia con una reducción de la agresión física y verbal. La presente revisión bibliográfica tiene por objetivo analizar la efectividad de la terapia musical como herramienta para controlar la agresión en niños, estableciendo previamente una definición de la agresividad infantil, así como un análisis de la influencia de la música en el control de las emociones en los individuos.
