Relación entre la información contable y la toma de decisiones en las PYMES. Una revisión sistemática

Esta revisión sistemática se propuso analizar cómo la información contable influye en la toma de decisiones de las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES). Para asegurar un enfoque metodológico riguroso y una estructura clara, se utilizó el protocolo PRISMA 2020 y la estrategia PICO. La búsqueda se llevó a cabo en bases de datos como Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Google Scholar y Scielo, abarcando estudios publicados entre 2013 y 2025. Se incluyeron 36 investigaciones empíricas y revisiones sistemáticas en español e inglés, centrándose en el impacto de la información contable en la gestión empresarial de las PYMES. Los resultados muestran que esta información contribuye a mejorar la planificación financiera, la rentabilidad y la toma de decisiones estratégicas, aunque aún existen obstáculos como la falta de capacitación, la resistencia al cambio y un bajo nivel de digitalización. En conclusión, es esencial fortalecer los sistemas de información contable y promover la alfabetización financiera para aumentar la competitividad y sostenibilidad de las PYMES.
